The book ‘Vikas Yojnayein avm Mahila Prasithati’ studies the modern and sociological changes in the status of scheduled caste women in Sikar district from the process of social change. Also, an attempt has been made to know the changing status of scheduled caste women and the effect of development schemes on them. Women are considered as the backbone of society, culture and civilization. In all cultures of the world, special liberal and advanced views have been put towards women.
