In independent India, secularism has spread like a veil over the entire system of governance and its institutional structures. As a result of this secularism, Hindus were never able to learn about their own glorious past, nor were Muslims informed about their Islamic past, which had humiliated their ancestors and even stripped them of their identity. The foundational values that were meant to be restored for the nation could not be re-established due to secularism. Even the word “Hindu” came to be regarded as a symbol of communalism. In contrast, in the name of minorities, so-called secular governments laid out the Constitution and the entire state machinery like a red carpet for a particular section. This ultimately destroyed the backbone of India’s ancient civilization and Hindu society as a whole.
