Description
From my student days, I’ve been interested in literature and poetry. After retirement, I began writing poems in Hindi and Bundeli, including Dohas, Geets, Muktaks, and Chabbi. I was inspired by local Ghazal artists in Tikamgarh, and though I didn’t initially know how to write Ghazals, I later tried composing one, which was well-received. Guided by Umed Khan, I gradually improved and became a regular participant in monthly gatherings. Over the years, my Ghazals gained popularity, and I compiled them into a collection. With spiritual influence, I also wrote “Ruhani Ghazals,” now being published in a book. I’m grateful to my supporters and hope readers will enjoy my work. – Pooran Chandra Gupta ‘Pooran’ (Author)
