Mae Hamar Shvetambari is a Maithili poetry anthology compiled and edited by Manjusha Jha. The collection brings together works from 25 contemporary poets and writers, showcasing more than 125 poems and songs. The book reflects themes of culture, tradition, love, devotion, social issues, and women’s empowerment. It highlights the richness of Maithili literature while giving space to both emerging and established voices.
Published in August 2025 (First Edition), this anthology celebrates the continuity of Maithili poetic tradition, weaving together lyrical expressions that resonate with devotion to goddess Saraswati, reverence for heritage, and reflections on modern social realities such as dowry, women’s rights, and cultural identity.
