Ghazal is a popular genre of Urdu literature but for some years, Hindi Ghazal has been going somewhere. The work of establishing Hindi Ghazal in Hindi literature was done by the Ghazals of Dushyant Kumar. Dushyant Kumar took Ghazal away from the matters of love and affection and connected it with the joys and sorrows of the common man, explored the shortcomings and flaws of the government.
